The project consisted of street improvements, new landscape medians, the modern street light standards, and two major entry monuments for the City of Corona on Main Street from Grand Blvd. to the north City Limits (approximately one mile). This section of Main Street is a Major Entry Corridor for the City of Corona and required coordination with the several City Departments and the Redevelopment Agency.

The project consisted of construction of new landscaped medians, major Asphalt Pavement rehabilitation, restripe Main Street to add an additional thru lane, construction of two major entry monuments, installation of new street lighting, restriping Main Street to add an additional thru lane, and provide pavement rehabilitation.

K&A Engineering prepared the design and improvement plans for street improvements, traffic striping plans, new raised landscaped medians, street lighting design with new standards, and the grading and retaining walls for two major entry monuments. The project served to increase the traffic capacity of Main street, provide street maintenance, beautify this major entry to the City, and served to promote the redevelopment of the City of Corona’s North Main Street Corridor. K&A worked in conjunction with a Landscape Architect on the project.
